STEFFAN WILSON-JONES

I am a bilingual writer, composer and playwright from the Vale of Clwyd, based in Cardiff.

I graduated from the University of Reading in 2019, with a BA in Film & Theatre Studies, before studying an MA in Directing at UWTSD and an MA in Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University.

I explore many forms of writing, with an emphasis on Welsh identity, dark comedy and political satire. I was a member of the 2025-2026 Representing Wales (Literature Wales) cohort and the 2026 Writers at Work cohort at Hay Festival.

I am now working on my debut novel with Sebra, and am in the R&D phase of a new musical with Onnen Productions.
